Howdy, all!
I'm just coming in here to dump some of my favorite photos from this week. For the complete funtimes, do drop by my
Doll-A-Day set on Flickr. Doing pretty well with my aim - there are some days I upload multiple photos!
Robin called shenanigans on the bit where she's stuck with a 1/3-scale coffee cup, so she stole mine.
Sometimes, the Flickr app has some cool filters. This photo of Mad Science Lagoona and her three-eyed frog really benefited from this one.
Merida has decided that the best part of not being Rapunzel anymore is getting to wear these awesome boots.
(They are pretty awesome. They're from an Anastasia doll - yes, from the '90's animated movie - I found at my parents'.)
The second-best part is not having to deal with Tiny Flynn anymore. She forgot to warn New Rapunzel, though.
(Tiny Flynn is kind of a chauvinist jerk. His diminutive size only served to amplify all his bad traits. It's like having a 6-inch-tall frat boy wandering around.)
Poor Tiny Flynn. He was the only gent among all the pretty lady dolls until this freakishly tall interloper showed up.
As for Howl, we are getting started on his clothing. As befits such a flashy dresser, he insists on inspecting the fabrics before agreeing.
(Yes, that is leftover taffeta from the Taffeta Monstrosity skirt. And thank heavens for Etsy and their sellers of vintage Barbie patterns! I found the perfect historical suit pattern.)
Hopefully my next update will be with good progress on Howl's suit!
