Eva's Regency Dress

...I keep doing this, don't I? I vanish for a month, and then one Friday night, when the husband's off rolling d20s and the kid's asleep, I get bored and clean out my camera's card and make four posts.

I'm sorry for clogging up your reading lists!

Anyway, lots to cover. First: Eva's Regency dress!

"I get to wear pretty dresses, too? SWEET."

I used the pattern for Josefina's Christmas Dress. Note the added inches at hem and sleeves!

...And Eva's bored now.

Check out this gorgeous calico. Thank you, Hancock Fabrics!

Bodice (mostly) finished!

In-progress shot.

Yeah, I wasn't kidding about that in-progress bit!

And finished!

Eva shows off her new threads to Felicity, who is suitably impressed. Now, if I can only convince Eva's hair to stay up in a nice, period-appropriate fashion!
